Lisa Marto Weber began Marto Designs after working in the craft industry for the past 8 years designing for magazines which include : Crafts N Things , Craftworks , Pack O fun , CRAFTS , Crafty Kids and many more . Lisa has also published over 300 project articles in various craft booklets and magazines, including three books; two with multiple artists and one for McCall's Creates.

Lisa and her family which include husband Michael, and their two children have decided to become permanent Alabama residents. Michael is preparing to retire from the United States Navy in the near future.

With her background in design and her talents with power tools it seemed like a natural progression for Lisa to enter a new phase of her career which has ultimately become Marto Designs, an independently owned and operated family business. While Lisa, her husband Mike and their two boys run a wholesale, mail order, and now an online site!! The family is very excited to have the opportunity to grow .
